This unique 3D monofilament scaffold is made from the biologically derived poly-4-hydroxybutyrate (P4HB™ ), which naturally bioabsorbs through hydrolysis.
The first and only formed absorbable scaffold designed to fit and uplift the body's natural shape, providing easier placement and reduced procedure time. 
After implantation, the scaffold gradually and predictably bioabsorbs over the course of approximatley 18-24 months providing a lattice for new tissue ingrowth and regeneration resulting in tissue 3-4 times stronger than native tissue. [9,16,19]
GalaFLEX 3D scaffold is indicated for use as a bioresorbable scaffold for soft tissue support and to repair, elevate, and reinforce deficiencies where weakness or voids exist that require the addition of material to obtain the desired surgical outcome. This includes reinforcement of soft tissue in plastic and reconstructive surgery, and general soft tissue reconstruction.
